Jollywetfellow, with all respect, I think you may be confused about what those Youtube collections are: they're just playlists of videos that already exist on Youtube, usually organized around themes. Your comment that the forum poster doesn't "own" these collections is bizarre: they're just sets of links to publicly-posted videos on Youtube. The collection-makers themselves typically don't own the videos either, they're just making it easy to see a set of related videos. Anyone in the world can link to any video or any playlist on Youtube -- that's pretty fundamental to how this whole internet works.

There should be nothing controversial about posting links to these Youtube playlists. They're publicly-viewable links, and it seems obvious from the thematic contents that they've been organized by wetlook fans like those here on this forum. It's a really useful way to help discover videos we may not have seen before.

In case you're suggesting there's some sort of piracy issue at play here, you're mistaken. This is not like the illegal posting of copyrighted content from wetlook producers that happens on various porn sites. Those links should be reported and taken down, not shared, as that undermines the hard-working wetlook producers. But these Youtube links aren't hurting anyone in any way. Many of us here really appreciate forum posters sharing playlists like this that they've discovered. If you don't, just ignore them.

It seems to me to be wrong in principle to post the youtube (or Flickr, or anything else) collections of other people. These are the personal property of the people concerned; they have their own reasons for the vids they have chosen which are not necessarily the same reasons as those which might make the vids of interest to people on this Forum. If collection owners want them publicised they can post them themselves.

(And before anyone makes fatuous allegations, no, neither of the collections which have recently been posted is mine, but both have been around for a long time and I am confident that they would have been posted here long ago had their owners wanted that to happen.)
