Hi Todd,
yes, well spotted, it's indeed methylcellulosis. And yes it is quite costly, allthough I managed to find a good local online supplier for it. I cannot really tell how much I finally used but it may well have been above 2 Kilos. And yes, I mixed in a big bucket first and put it in the bath bucket by bucket. Otherwise you'll not be able to mix it properly. Also you have to invest quite some time for mixing, because you have to poor the powder in very slowly. As I often state, I don't do this for a profit, but to cover my expenses for the shoots. But if costs are vovered it'S actually very enjoyable, both for me and my models ;-) |

By jetwetfun - Tue 25/08/15 19:29:54 GMT Yeah, she definitely looks very wet! Love that awesome hair picture!
By the way, it's not often discussed here, but what did you use for the slime? Was it methylcellulose? If so, how much did you use? Isn't it rather expensive to mix up enough for a bath full of this stuff? And, do you mix it up in buckets of warm water and then put it to the bath? I'd love to hear the story about how you did that part of the shoot. We have used methylcellulose before, but to mix enough for a bath would not be very worthwhile from a profit standpoint. You'd have to do it just for the enjoyment of it.
Did I say I loved the hair picture?! Nice job! |

By WAM Photography - chris@wetandmessyphotography.com Tue 25/08/15 16:41:44 GMT Website: https://www.wetandmessyphotography.com// http://www.wetandmessyphotography.com/ Hi everybody, I know it's not a wetlook update by definition, but I thought some of the wetlook fans might be interested in my new set as well as the slime I used is very thin, almost watery. And it shows some pretty nice wetlook clothing and hair. I'll let you decide if it fits this forum :) Looking forward to getting your feedback! Oh and btw. I accept Paypal Payments |
