By Walt - Sat 05/10/02 09:37:38 GMT That's fine...as long as they continue advertising the clothes, and demonstrating the stain fastness!! As an aside but still on advertisements, I love the disposable plate ad where the spaghetti slops off the competing paper plate & onto her clothes ("Not the shoes!!"). Guess that would be good for the stain-repelling folks, too! Another ad contains a lady who loves to dance in the rain (it's a food ad).

By Getwet - Sat 05/10/02 02:40:44 GMT Just saw a commercial for a new stainguard line of clothes, can't remeber the brand. A woman purposely pours red wine on her khaki slacks and wipes it right off...no satin, seeping into the cloth, etc. Could this be the death to wetlook as we know it? what happens if you really soak these "new" clothes with a lot of water. Hope this stuff doesn't catch on!! |
