I was going to post on that very subject. I London, there is (was) T/Square. In Paris there are a series of fountains. Russia, many. Greece, Spain, wherevery But in N. America, as near as I can determine, it is only kids, and little kids at that, usually little black kids from the projects, who seem to be the only ones in fountains! I don't understand it! No matter where the newscameras gather, that is all that is shown, and, I gather, that is all there is. I have not even seen teenagers.
As I have mentioned before, in the height of the hippie era, in the 1970s, the fountains of DC were filled with young folks every weekend, and much during the week. Jeans-lovers would have gone ape!
But now, where is everybody? Beats me.

In reply to Message (30897) Hot weather relief photos?
By Krystal - Krystal38047@yahoo.com Wed 15/08/07 21:45:29 GMT Have there been any hot weather relief photos showing people soaking in their clothes? I haven't seen a lot in the papers in my area, that didn't involve children playing, or construction workers pouring it over their heads. Oh, I'm not new to the forum, but I've never posted before. I love to soak in jeans and a shirt and do yard work, or just swim around friends. I'm age 32. Don't ask me to post photos. I don't take them wet for postings. |
