I am intrigued about your reference to a curfew, particularly as it sounds routine. Over here in Britain, curfews are very rare, only used to curb late night trouble in specific places.
What restrictions like this do you have in place in the USA, particularly in California and the SW? I am curious as I will be on Vacation there in a few days time. |

By Jtsmark - jtsmark@yahoo.com Tue 17/08/04 01:47:36 GMT Last night I went swimming at my favorite lake in Del Valle/Livermore CA. It was a warm, beautiful night and I spent quite some time in the water. When I got back to my car there was a police car waiting in front of my car. I stood right in the headlights dripping wet - jeans, sweater, down jacket and boots. The officer informed me that I was not allowed to be in the park past the curfew. We both walked over to the entry sign, me squishing along in my waterfilled boots. In a very friendly tone he explained the rules and then left. Wetlook really isn't that weird to others. Go out and enjoy!
