I’ve lost a lot of interest. I just looked at my collection and I see that last new set I downloaded was on the 9th of June of last year. I’m more interested in the older stuff now. I have 12 emails from Wamtec’s Patreon about retro stuff so I think I might restart my subscription. Lately I’ve only been interested in wetlook videos on YouTube only if they were posted more than ten years ago.

I don’t think it’s limited to our wetlook niche. The whole internet just seems like it’s not as much fun as it was in the 00s and the first half of the 10s.

Or is it just me? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but right now nothing's really doing it for me. Like, I'm not exactly looking to be blown away by something amazing (though obviously I'll take it), but nothing I'm looking at is really doing anything for me. Even the older stuff in my collections isn't doing anything, for the "Today's stuff sucks!" people (though I do think we're in a bit of a "wetlook drought" right now, that's a separate but maybe related issue).
