That was my life until 2013. I connected with my Precious that year, but for the first 3 years I was in her friendzone. In 2016 I told her that I thought of her as more than a friend. In 2019, while my mother was on her deathbed (my father had died 1 1/2 years earlier), Precious moved from Las Vegas to Bakersfield to be with me. We have lived together ever since. Search the archives for more of our story together. It has been quite a ride.
