That's the short answer. They use very heavy encryption. I even messaged with a couple of producers asking for a download to use offline, they refused citing Chinese piracy.

It CAN be done but you need to use some pretty complicated programs to combine the encryption hash with the downloaded files in Xcream Player. Best to just use the player and stop people snooping on your device if you want to keep it secret.

I appreciate the help, but the first one would not work. The second one, I would've needed an external program to get the 4k version but it did download a smaller HD version. However, when played in VLC, the length of the video was right, but there was no video or audio, just the VLC cone. I've also tried internet download manager (IDM) but that did the same thing. Downloaded the video, however, the video would not play in any player.

I use Video Downloader professional.

It works the most time with Firefox, sometimes you must use the Edge-Browser.

Also works Video DownloadHelper in both browsers.

How to download Xcream videos?

I purchased a Xcream video in the past and was able to download it. I purchased some videos recently and I am unable to download them without using the Xcream player. In fact, I don't even have an option to download the video I already downloaded years ago. I can only stream it or download the Xcream player, which I do not want. I did try it, and I am able to download the videos via Xcream player, but then it appears they only play in the Xcream player and not VLC or anything else. I would rather not have the Xcream player on my PC or phone and I have tried different browser extensions to download the videos and none seem to work on this. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I would like to download the videos and have them in a folder with other videos I have.
