In all likelihood, it has now become exactly what was originally intended. The wide open public viewing was probably only to help it build a membership and gain "mind share".

Sadly, a once-popular site for many great candid wetlook pics has changed both its name and business model--you can only see pictures if you sign up for an account, and even then it seems that you can only see pics that your friends put up--unless I'm missing something. Anyone else able to figure out a way around this?
