The boots would not fall off, unless they were massively too big for her. Wellies do not usually fall off in the water, this is something we do a lot at http://langstonedale.com
She would find it hard to swim with the boots on though, because it's being able to use you feet like flippers that helps with swimming - last summer I had girls swimming in a deep part of a river during a shoot, with jeans and wellies on, and they commented on how hard it was to swim in wellies. So chances are your girl would take her boots off and perhaps carry them with her, tied to string or something, so she has them when she gets to dry land again, but doesn't wear them to swim.
Assuming she is a good swimmer and the distance isn't too far, wearing denim dungarees would not be a big problem for swimming. |

By Ploss - Wed 26/12/18 20:28:06 GMT I'm writing a story about a group of girls who get shipwrecked and have to swim with their clothes on. The link below is a picture of one of the girls in my story. She is wearing dungarees and wellies (rain boots). What would happen if she swam wearing this outfit? Would she likely drown? How difficult would swimming be if she kept her dungarees and boots on? Would her boots probably fall off? |
