No, sidewalk jets are of the Manezhnaya Square fountain. And most of Wamstore's Moscow movies also made here. A fountain at the Poklonnaya Gora (Park Pobedy) in fact is a long chain of separate red granite rectangular fountains. |

By Mahoney - Tue 09/06/09 15:22:41 GMT Is Poklonnaya Gora the famous two part fountain in which girls bath in one place and get sprayed by jets on a sidewalk? The one featured in most of Wamstore's Russian DVD's? I mean it looks like it is from here: http://www.moscow.info/parks/victory-park.aspx but maybe it's just similar? |

By Chiezo - chiezo@onego.ru Tue 09/06/09 14:41:52 GMT Nearest is a fountain in Manege Square (Manezhnaya ploshchad) near Kremlin. One more famous wetlook fountain is at Poklonnaya Hill (Poklonnaya gora), far from Moscow center. But, whether or not you will see any wetlook is all depends on your luck and good weather... |
