Hi Nado. So I'm not going out of my mind after all :-) I've asked many people, no one seems to remember it except you. Do you recall her red tunic billowing up? I wonder if that particular episode can be purchase online?
Have a great one, WetScape.

By Nado - Sun 21/05/06 19:29:50 GMT Ah, yes... I remember the scene. Each week, somebody would get pushed in a pool. One time, Marie got pushed, wearing a red tunic like the one you described. I wish I had pictures to share. In the late 1970s, a VCR costs many humdreds of dollars. They were large, bulky affairs, plastic with plenty of fake woodgrain. CB radios were much more popular... and more affordable.
In addition, there was a Brady Bunch variety show, also with a swimming pool, in which each week someone would get pushed in. If memory serves me correctly, the entire family ended up in the drink once or twice.
I think I just revealed my age.... |

By WetScape - safezone2@yahoo.com Sun 21/05/06 18:44:25 GMT Yes indeed owning a VCR back then was a rare commodity.
Yes in fact I recall around December that year there was a very brief scene right at the end of an episode where she was wearing a long red period dress which billowed up really big when she fell off of a stage set in the old Western cowboy/cowgirl days.. Does anyone remember that? Been hunting everywhere for this one. I did check the Donny and Marie episode guide on Google and came up disapointed. (That figures).
Happy Victoria Day to Canadians. Watch out for those fireworks.
