Actually there is still an active military base out there. My friend is in the navy and enjoys being stationed there. One of his jobs is to disarm mines from WWII that wash up on shore after a storm. |

I'm sure it was swarming with military for years. Now it is probably all but deserted by the military. It is probably a great nature area. Probably a much better use than a B52 base. |

By Dave - Mon 12/04/04 16:30:27 GMT I mentioned looooong ago (like maybe the first iteration of the forum) that Guam is a good place for wetlook, although it's pretty remote. I still don't have the ability to post photos myself (actually, it's the scanner that I don't have), but here's one link, anyway.
