That is funny. When I was in the service, one of the last places you wanted to be sent was Quam. It was a staging area for Viet Nam. I'm sure it was swarming with military for years. Now it is probably all but deserted by the military.

It is probably a great nature area. Probably a much better use than a B52 base.

I mentioned looooong ago (like maybe the first iteration of the forum) that Guam is a good place for wetlook, although it's pretty remote. I still don't have the ability to post photos myself (actually, it's the scanner that I don't have), but here's one link, anyway.
