1. Its not interesting how long a video is or what quality its of. The one interesting point is the size of the file.
2. Some servers are very fast and some are not. Some ISPs have special server software that slows down downloads of huge files to save the speed for normal web pages. www.jeanscowboy.de is an example for this behaviour.
3. If your connection is slow (modem/ISDN) this may be the bottle neck most of the time. If you have a fast connection like DSL or cable the bottle neck may also be the server hosting the files. see 2. |

However, if I want to download a low quality 30 second clip of a wetlook vid or something from a members site it takes about 4 months. |
