If you need to move up from an older Netscape (the good old 4.7x series) and don't want to use IE, try Mozilla 1.1 (1.2 comes out soon). You can donload from http://www.mozilla.org/

Mozilla is much better that Netscape 7.x, even tho they are mostly the same under the covers. But Mozilla doesn't do all "commercial" fluff like AOL instant Messenger, etc.

I've been using Mozilla at work for several months now and, altho I do use IE at home, there's not really all that much difference in what website they support (except of course for websites with active-x, whic is so insecure, I don't mind not having suport for them most of the time).

If you do move to Mozilla, you can keep your NS 4.x - they install in separate directories, etc.

Go here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.asp and enjoy downloading, Micro$oft own Netscape now so there isn't really any reason to use it.

The new UMD locks up my computer. Have to reboot everytime. I guess it is new software that my older Netscape cannot handle. (It is not the only site that does this.)

I have been using Joys Of Wet Clothing link page for the last couple of weeks and am grateful for it. Would appreciate names of other link pages if anyone can help.
