If this is the first time you've seen the MyDoom virus in action, you're the lucky one. No one is using your address. Someone has your address on their computer and they also have the virus. Therefore you are one of the random email addresses that gets a virus from "brenda" (one of the preset names the virus uses) at a domain name also found on that computer's hard drive.

Count yourself lucky you only have a few. I am still deflecting 200-300 per day from my systems and servers.

Someone out there has a virus which is using my email address as a spoof sender, so I get lots of "mail undeliverable" type messages. See below.

If you've got Brenda in your address book or have visited a site that has her email address then please check your PC for viruses.
