First of all, thanks for taking and sharing these pictures. What I'm wondering about: how is anybody able to stand this cold and stay in wet clothes while it is even snowing? Was there any possibility to get to a dry place and change - or did people stay wet as they were all night long? |

By jim - none Mon 26/01/04 03:00:21 GMT Well, first of all, as the photographer I can say it definitely was around 3C or below because (as you could see in later pics) it started to snow. Secondly, since my site doesn't need this kind of attention (1000 pageloads, 120,000 hits and 60 megabytes per hour), I'm removing that page. Sorry, jim. |

By Martin - Sat 24/01/04 22:40:07 GMT Website: http://statlerandwaldorf.org/pics/mirror_lake/ I don't remebmer who posted the webshot-pictures showing an open-air pool-party at the Michigan "mirror-lake" in late November - thank you for this! It lead me to this link, showing a good collection of people jumping into the lake at 3 centigrades (?!) without worrying about the cold. Must have been a phantastic scene to be at. |
