I spotted on a British leisure centre website information about a "Clothed Swimming Group" who advertise that they are a "social group who like to swim in something more than just a swimming costume". I have not contacted them so I know nothing about how they operate or their membership. However, I doubt they just rushed in fully clothed; instead, they would have organised clothed swimming by prior arrangement with the people who run the place, and most likely hire time to use the pool outside main public opening hours.
I would suggest asking the pool management what their policy is on clothed swimming. If they are surprised at the idea, tell them that clothed swimming groups already exist, so it is not such an unusual request. The only practical issue that may concern them is hygiene (clothing fibres releasing dirt, bacteria, etc) but that should not stop the idea completely. |

By WetTM - Thu 22/01/04 17:51:55 GMT Has anyone gone into a pool fully clothed at a YMCA or gym where there are always a bunch of lifeguards present? If so, how did you do it? Did you get in trouble or get thrown out?
Our local Y has a waterslide that I have dreamed about going down fully clothed...
