If you are going to follow WIR's advice about lowering safety settings, you need to tighten your "My Computer zone" settings with Qwik-Fix.

...Of course I wouldn't recomend doing this without having either a hardwire firewall (router) or zone alarm firewall. Or without any spyware detector such as SPYBOT and/or AD-AWARE (I use both) and that is in ur browser settings, set everything to low security and enable everything there is that says enable, then in the advanced tab make sure that SSL 2 and SSL 3 and TLS 1 are checked. Shouldn't have any problem getting to anything. Also check the windows update page for any IE6 Service Paks or Security Patches

I have a problem accessing some sites like

It throws up a page cannot be displayed messgae

this also applies to ebay , and whatboyswant.com

[ I can get the first page and every thing else is unobtainable]

what am I doing wrong ??

I recently upgraded to internet explorer version 6 , download version.

can someone help me please
