There was a boxing day dip in Aberdeen too although unfirtunately I couldn't make it. There were one or two pics in the local paper which seemed to include to women in schoolgirls outfits but they were in the background and quite small.
One to watch in future though.
Merry Xmas to all

FYI, in prior years it was normally SKY NEWS who showed clips from this event on their channel. The webmaster from SOAKING STARS sent in some great scenes from Sky News for these events in 2000.
Seeing as SOAKING STARS are based in Scotland...I hope they will cover the fancy dress swim at the Forth Bridge on New Years Day at noon...called "The Loony Dook".

By Wet Brian - bdann0875@rootesgroup.fslife.co.uk Fri 26/12/03 06:41:47 GMT Website: www.apex-wetlook.co.uk I went to Seaburn Boxing Day swim today, and got some good footage, not so many "schoolgirls" this year,or jeans either, but still worth the effort, look to see the footage on a future video. Now while I was there, there was a tv film crew from BBC Look North, but I couldnt get home in time to tape it,as it took 4hrs to do the 200 miles!!So did anyone record the clip? I understand Look North is also available on digital satellite. Brian
