By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Tue 23/12/03 04:03:31 GMT Website: http://www.wamtec.com/dropin.wmv As any wetlook producer knows...working with one or two models is easy to manage. However...when you have 8 girls on the set...trying to get everybody coordinated and on their right marks for the camera...is very tricky indeed.
As a little homage to choreagrapher "Busby Berkeley" (I love all those old films like The Gold Diggers of 1933), I thought I would start out one scene in a typical Busby Berkeley way. 7 girls in pink dresses (sorry wetinred...skip this one..) and lead girl Jo Bache in lilac.
This is the kind of shot where you only get one chance to try this shot...and if one girl is out of step...the entire shot is ruined....and there is no chance for a re-take.
... Thankfully...the girls followed my countdown beautifully.
