Leon raises an interesting point regarding feedback. Downright vicious critisism can be devistating to a webmaster, but so is no feedback at all. That is how it was before the "Brazilian huricane" went through here, shaking things up for us all. I feel that this incident has had a more positive overall effect on the community through the rallying of those who realy do appreciate all of the behind-the-scenes work being done.

In the past week, I have had a flood of e-mails from appreciators who have shared ideas of what they like about the sites and, in some cases, raised interesting questions about the photos and their history. Also, several have offered to contribute their collections to the community as well.
