1) I am happy that the owner of the hub was not responsible for this. As soon as he was aware of the problem, he closed the hub and send us an email to begin a discussion about solving the problem.

2) We were not talking a small-scale "few photos". The account on this hub contained around 10 to 12 complete sets of members photos - around 700 of them.

3) The account on the hub also contained between 20 and 30 of our member video files.

4) The hub also contained a large number of copyrighted MP3 files of major recording artists. I am sure the recording companies would like to know more about these too.

5) The account on the hub also contained member and copyrighted material from other WAM producers. They will be been informed of all the details that we have, so that this person can be blocked from membership of other sites (should they choose to do this).

6) Yes, we did post the message to warn (not threaten) others. The photos are Styx copyrighted. We make that quite clear to members. It also demonstrates how serious we are about protecting our copyright and the power of our tracking processes.

7) As has been discussed on this forum MANY times, producers are not on this planet to spend upwards of £20,000 per year producing material for others to rip off and give away for nothing (or in some cases, try to re-sell). We give a lot away to this community via a free website, so why should we allow any more than this to be given away when we have paid to produce it?

8) Our customers come first. We have a large number of happy customers who do not pay very much for a vast archive of wetlook material. 99.9% of them "play the game" and use the archive for their own personal use. We have no problem at all in tracking down and penalising cheats who give our content away for free or who share their usernames with other people. All they do is spoil things for the real contributors.
