FYI...the Nolans gunging scene is one scene I sadly no longer have. I used to have the scene on tape, but my house in Kent got burgled one day in 1979 while I was at work in London...and the buggers nicked all my electronics and tape collection...and took my mini cooper too. I did not care about the car or electronics...but my 1970's tv tapes were priceless to me. I do have the Toyah Wilcox scene though...plus a nice scene with Annie Lennox in her pre-Eurythmics days...playing the "bucket of water" game/scene. I guess the "Leggs & Co" (Top of the Pops dancers) scene is the best scene I have on tape, until we can find that Nolan sisters scene again.

In those days in the UK...every schoolboy had a crush on Sally James from TISWAS and Elisabeth Sladen (from Dr Who).

I used to watch TISWAS (This Is Saturday Wear A Smile,I think TISWAS stood for??) regularly,unless Multicoloured Swap Shop had a group on I liked. But one week,my favourite female group at the time was The Nolans,so I was in heaven(well as much as a 9 year old could be!)when they got covered by the phantom flan flinger!

Folks on the wamtec forum requested these 2 video clips to be uploaded.

1) The period dress scene from THE PERFECT HUSBAND...I know this is one of Roger's favorites, cos the black tights worn with the dress. This is the kind of wet scene I love the most...something totally unpredictable that happens in the middle of an offbeat movie..

2) I receive a lot of requests for the rare TISWAS scenes Roger and I taped persoally off the tv in the 1970's (when few people but us had a vcr in those days)...especially of the young Sheena Easton getting attacked with pies and gunge by the Phantom Flan Flinger....so I have uploaded that video clip too. Although this may seem a bit off topic, I know Leonmoomin will want to study this clip for his own reasons....Chris Tarrant and Bob Monkhouse both seemed to be the fastest mouths in the west in those days.
