I think $60 is a good price, I'd like to know who that was.

I've ordered customs from Ariel and Jayce for around that price and they do great work. They also self produce so that brings down the cost. Plus two vids that I've ordered ended up on their general site, so while it's custom it could also have been purchased by several others. Buddha from Southern Charms did one at no extra cost! Even Cory Chase did one for me (she was awesome)!! Of course both of these vids were up on public sites and all I did was make a request to specifically tweak what would be a normal wetlook video.

I think $200 for ten minutes of video is too expensive. I know producers will balk at that but it's only a fair price if nobody else will ever see that video, or it's so unusual that nobody will want to see that video. I actually did once make a wetlook video and yes, there's a lot of work involved. I've also made other vids and photo shoots and do agree that $200 is about the cost to produce something for one person.

There shouldn't be an extra charge either for getting jeans wet since they get wet in the wash anyways. Such charges should only apply if there is a need to purchase a very specific item of clothing or if something of value is ruined. Asking a model to dress as Courtney Cox in Springsteen's Dancing in the Dark video with sleeveless T-shirt, rolled up jeans and white sneakers is not $200 worth of customization if that video can be sold to the general public as well. Unless of course it's Courtney Cox herself, then pay the $200 for sure!

I won't mention any names in this post. Recently, I had emailed two different producers/models and about a year ago, I had emailed one other.

The one from a year ago, I had become a member on and off after a year or two of anonymous browsing and purchased a few store sets. I was pretty specific on the outfits I wanted for both models, I was flexible on how much or how little the models wore, and the outcome would have been relatively simple. No destruction, other than soap and shampoo, which shouldn't be much, if any. I was told it would be $250 for one model and an additional $50 for the other. I was also told the brand of jeans I requested, or rather their clothes as a whole, were expensive and a bonus. There was a bit of miscommunication and I declined, then a week or two later, a member video popped up with pretty much exactly what I had asked. Pretty lucky, huh.

Another one I emailed recently was pretty much open to anything and said it would be $60 for one model. I had purchased a couple sets and was pleased for the most part. I had forgotten about the first one and thought this was a bit much until I my most recent email exchange.

I purchased a 10 minute video from someone and, it was superb. The model not only had on my favorite brand of jeans, but it seemed to be a unique pair. The video quality and the camera angles were perfect. The model in the video was doing something I don't normally watch or look out for, but the jeans had me mesmerized, and they actually stayed on the entire video. Some videos I have, I've only watched once and been somewhat disappointed at the end. This one, I've gone back and watched several times, despite the model doing something I don't much care for, instead of what I proposed in an email. I asked how much it would be for the same pair of jeans, rest of the scene identical, except the model would be doing something different (still no destruction or ruining of clothes). I was told $200 for 10 minutes of video. Part of me fears I will get it and still want more, but I am also hesitant because of the $200 price tag.

On my old HDD, I have a folder with 77.1GB of wetlook, most of which I obtained just over the past year. I'm mostly interested in video, but if photos come with the video, I'll take them. If I had to guess, I've probably spent a few hundred on wetlook. Most of it is on sets, though I've had a membership on and off with one site. I doubt I'll ever tell a soul (publicly) about the numbers.

I do game a lot on my PC, and I tend to get anxious and impulse buy (after research and scanning negative reviews). I found a website which has an add-on to make credit cards and load money on, to remain somewhat anonymous on statements (it just says Blur, and that could mean anything). I couldn't care less about money spent on gaming, as some people spend in the tens of thousands on setups.

Compared to the other two producers, $60 sounds not so bad, but I'm concerned about the quality. I keep going back and watching that one video. The model is very attractive, the quality and camera angles are the best I've seen, and what really drew me to the video was her jeans. I really want to do it, but I'm just so hesitant.
