What's the price on somehting like that Brian? I mean, the camera and the housing? And how do you like the camera? Eat batteries? Good pics? So simple a moron like me could figure it out? Mac-compatable?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am still considering a digi-camera for our site.

I was looking for a waterproof camera before I went to Thailand this year for the Songkran. What I found was the cameras within my budget were either a low 1 or 2Mp resolution,or didnt have optical zoom. I seem to recall CASIO do/did a w/proof camera.

I eventually got a Konica KD400,which is 4Mp,3x optical zoom. I then purchased a ewa-marine waterproof camera housing. This survived loads of soakings in Thailand so would easily cope with being PUT in a river,cant guarentee the camera would survive being DROPPED though!

Does anyone have any recommendations for a waterproof

digital camera? My wife and I aren't into underwater

stuff, so it doesn't have to be an underwater camera.

But we are looking for something that would be fine if

it, say, gets dropped into a river. Anyone have any

suggestions?
