Here we are only speaking about things happening to clothes.
Ripping is a sad thing happening to clothes. I don't want to criticize people enjoying it, because I can understand that it is spectacular. But it is short and a bit violent. Moreover there is no way backward, it can't be repaired.
Instead of that, I really prefer soaping activities. Imagine a really nice clothe, being repeatedly soaped and lathered, worked in a rich lather. This is spectacular too, with sounds, foam and fragrancy of the soap. But it is not messy and it respects both the clothes and the woman wearing them. Some rinsing and clothes are like before the wetlook scene. Sadly ripping doesn't offer this possibility.
One day I have seen a girl wearing a lovely white tee shirt with a nice button placket. I was shocked to see it ending in shreds. It would have been so nice in a shower, thoroughly soaped. A beloved tee treated with care. At this moment I taught it would have been great to send me this tee in a box for further clips. But it ended in trashes.
I am a bit frustrated to see there is not enough renewal in wetlook clips. may be it could come next spring.
Don't you think some people could feel some emotions in front of fancy clothes being soaped, lathered, rubbed in a sink or on the concrete washbaord ? Have you never felt some strange emotions watching clothes being washed by hand ? It seems to me it looks like wetlook, too... For me it was the birth of my wetlook tastes... The begining.

By Wetlongskirts - Thu 12/10/17 22:33:42 GMT Personally I wouldn't buy a wetlook set which features ripping. Like Nado, I feel it's a shame to see clothes being destroyed in that way and there are people in the world who would be only too happy to be able to have them to wear. It also spoils the wetlook itself, of course, as ripping up or cutting the clothes gradually reduces the wetlook effect/appearance until there's nothing left. |
