Mine is from 1977!
I was 4, yes 4!
I remember a health advert where a girl can't remember off hand who she was was (Jane Asher or someone) demonstrating the coverage that a hot kettle can cause to a small child, using tea coloured water.
She was wearing a white skirt and top, with white tights and this tea just drops onto her from above!
She was soaked and she did it twice!
It was an advert to prevent people from leaving kettle flexes and hot drinks within children's reach. I saw it only two times scince! Once in the late eighties.
Anyone else remember it? Perhaps Mark has it in his huge database somewhere?

By Rod Stroker - Sat 29/11/03 00:29:09 GMT Only the old farts like me will remember the MacCleans Toothpaste commercial from the late 1960's that featured dozens of young people in jeans (men and women) at a waterpark. This is my first memory of wetlook and it was glorious. I don't really remember the men in the commercial, but the women had jeans and t-shirts and other colorful tight thin shirts. The camera was positioned so that the wetness and fun was captured wonderfully. It is more than 35 years later and I still remember. Does anyone else? |
