That entire series was one of my favorites as well. It should be remembered that wetlook 'back then' was somewhat different from today in that the girls were really taking a chance on damaging (or ruining) their clothing, hose & shoes by wearing them into the water. Shoes, in particular,

were all leather and unless dried slowly and carefully were

never the same after a prolonged 'dunking.' Hose (stockings) were relatively expensive and easily snagged. Even the fabrics used in many dresses were hard to restore to "new" after getting wet. So the girls that posed for what we call "wetlook" (back then it was called "dunking") were quite adventurous the risk their outfits for fun in the water. Of course I'm delighted to have had the chance to capture some of those moments. Thanks again, JJ, for posting these so everyone can enjoy them!

First, after a computer crash and cookie wipeout, I cannot get the country ID to work. I am not from Iceland, but the USA. No matter.

I am always delighted with the offerings on Vintage Wetlook, particularly the sharing of a superb inventory by Wetfan. Some months ago, he presented a great sequence of two young girls in summer outfits, wading in a waist-deep stream.[1950s stream page 37?]It is my favorite of his collection - thus far.

He recently has added to this sequence and posted a very, but very rare photo. The theme, not the photo, is rare.

It is of the same sequence, and shows a pretty girl, in off-shoulder blouse and skirt, being carried into a stream by a guy! Check it out!

when I describe the theme as rare, I am not being sarcastic.

We see such in candid poolparty sequences and in Community Webshots, but very rarely in offerings using posed models. I posted a sequence in Total Wetlook, now gone, of a GI carrying a cute and laughing Bangkok bargirl, wearing blouse and pants, into a pool. I also remember having seen an MK video sequence of girls being dunked by guys as they are carried off boats. But a guy dunking a girl? Noooooo.

We have girl-on-girl sequences IMHO posted to excess, but no guys dunking girls except this one!

Would'nt more be great?

BTW, in this week's "Traude" sequence, she is on the beach getting wet in scoopneck top and pants.

Thid is another winner. You will find it in the "Lake" sequence. Big lake!!
