Night and Day Magazine held the "Miss Drenched" contest in 1957. There were many entrants, including photos that I submitted of my wife. Although we did not win a prize, the editors thought enough of my photos to include one of them almost full page in their Annual Issue. This led to a lot of fan mail, and I began corresponding with many wetlook enthusiasts, among them Craig Leedom, who did win a prize. Craig was supposed to receive a camera, but I heard that the magazine never came through. So much for the magazine's integrity. Craigs's winning photo of his wife sitting on a stepstool in the shower, can be seen at the "Vintage Wetlook" website.
