Greetings!
I came upon a review in the New York Times about a neat production called Moon Water.
The theatre's Web site quotes the following:
"Towards the end of the piece, water flows onto the floor until the floor itself becomes a huge mirror reflecting dancing bodies. After this, a full-length mirror appears on upstage, reflecting dancers and reflections of their images on the water. Dancers exit. The stage is empty, except for the ripples on the water. Curtain.
"This is a black and white production. While the stage floor is covered by black marley, the dancers' costumes are of billowy white silk, which eventually will be soaked by the water, revealing the bodies underneath." http://www.cloudgate.org.tw/english/current.htm
The Brooklyn Academy of Music, where the piece is being performed says,
"Water suddenly floods the stage, transforming it into a vast liquid mirror. Surrounded on all sides by their infinitely repeating images, the dancers soon get drenched, their billowing costumes gradually adhering to their whirling bodies." http://www.bam.org/events/04MOON/04moon.aspx
