I saw and read these same clippings. I had a lot of WetFan's material for a while when I was considering building a vintage site. They make for fascinating reading and I'm sure you'll enjoy them when JJ posts the articles. |

By JJ - vintagewet@yahoo.ca Sun 27/10/02 09:38:58 GMT Website: http://vintagewet2.tripod.com Wetfan sent me a batch of clippings from old magazines which I am still sorting. There are a few "Night & Day" and "Miss Wetlook Clothing", but very few. If anyone has a collection of these that they are willing to share with us, please e-mail them to me for posting. There is a "Night & Day" fountain set that will be posted to the "Scrapbook" gallery in a couple of weeks; watch for page 8. JJ

By w@mboy - Sun 27/10/02 07:22:53 GMT MK you posted this:
The very first thing I ever saw that was devoted to wetlook were the early 70's Fiesta Magazines in the UK (and Colin Tywford's photosets of "The Bride in the Bath"). If you ask some of the veteran wetlookers in the USA, they will tell you it was the 1950's "Night and Day" mens magazines that devoted several issues to wet clothes and a "Miss Wet Clothing" competition.
Do you have any scans of these, or know where any can be found?
