I've now quickly implemented an archiving function... it took most of my Sunday afternoon, unfortunately...

Hopefully it will speed the forum up:

Only the last 100 threads are now held in the "Active Message List". The others are still available, at the bottom of the main list, there are the archives, currently numbered 6...0 e.g. 5 contains threads 500-599. As new threads are posted, older ones are archived.

Archived messages cannot be 'replied to', you will be prompted to post a new message instead...

Also, the last 5-10 messages in the Active list cannot be replied to as they are about to be archived.

Next/Previous will still correctly step thru all messages, regardless of which archive they are in. When viewing a Message, there is a a "Return to Archive" button, the "Forum List" button has been renamed "Active List".

Please let me know of any bugs BY EMAIL, don't post here.
