I too have had this dilema. Try a summer retreat or outdoor Christian Festival where outdoor baptism is the "norm" in a lake or river.

It is a struggle between enjoyment of wetlook and your faith. Some baptism pics have been posted on the various sites at least since I got on the net in late 1996. I made up my mind early on that I would not view these types of pics. There is just something Holy about baptism and I cannot derive sensual pleasure from it.

The moral dilema of viewing wetlook has been with me since my realizing that "i was not alone" (thanks MK (wamtec) for sending me that first email back in 1996)

My only recomendation is if you know the girls are married don't look. That one is pretty cut and dry. As for the other pics I can only say it will be your own conscience that guides you.

My apologies to those that are not of the religious persuation. This is a difficult subject for us to balance. Yes, we know that we had this fascination with wetlook for as long as we can remember and even after our conversion that fascination has not left us. So all we can do is ask GOD for guidance.

PS I have wanted to ask this for years and am glad to see it finally being broached.

Maybe I came across wrong! I DO take this very seriously and was concerned because sensuality and christianity don't mix! It's like getting aroused by something you see on t.v. and your family is right there so you have to supress it and feel shameful/embarassed!Baptism is a holy act,what complicates this is its a turn on for me!(as everyone here knows!)and I realise this won't save me from harm on earth,but it will(help)save my eternal soul!(I believe at least).Anthony is right no one will even notice if I do/don't"swell up"except of course if there's any gay men/boys who are also sploshers there!I think maybe I will wear a cup too just to play it safe!and George-I agree with you-looking at a (wet) married woman IS commitng adultery in your heart!I try not to..TRY that is!If God punished us for our thoughts I know I'd be in hell already!we're not under the law any more(thank God!),if we repent of our sins as we are aware of them HE is faithful and just to forgive us!When we get to heaven I'd like to meet you...which at this rate might be by thanksgiving! peace

I've been concerned about recent world events and thinking I could die at any time!I've been searching online christian sites to try and get help and the consensus is-despite the obvious statement of faith,most fundementalists agree you must also be baptised in water(full immersion) as a kind of physical act of faith!Obviously it's too cold to do it in a lake so I have to find a church with a indoor pool of some kind-my problem is what if I get a hard-on once I'm in the water! would if I get so turned on I start shaking or feeling myself?!I know I know-you'll say just wear a swimsuit instead but nobody else does!Plus I would feel vulnerable in front of all those people,(if there is an audience that is),God knows of my "fetish" but my new found christian buddies don't! What to do?! I want to do the right thing and I believe full immersion baptism is an important part of that! (I'll be back in @11 hours to see your posts-I got a job to go to.)
