Wetlook? I suppose you could say that even dry they possess a certain wet looking quality but I'm of the opinion that leather and PVC clothes while they are very sexy dry and I like seeing lovely women with beautiful figures wearing such clothing, neither are made much better by wetting them especially PVC. Fabric does matter to me. I like fine textured fabrics like satin, gabardine, twill and silk as they tend to shine the best when wet (and in the case of silk and satin even when dry) and the change from wet to dry can be plainly seen.

I'm likewise not really into underwater photos or videos. To me the best wetlook is when the women is just emerging from the water; the time of maximum wetness when clothes are at their shiniest. Obviously, for me, underwater shots don't portray that even though the clothes are in fact as wet as they can be.

Lastly, the less likely the clothes a woman would wear in the water the more likely I am to enjoy it. Clothes like business suits, formal dresses (the exception being wedding dresses) and dresses in general, skirts with blouses and uniforms (flight attendants, cheerleaders, military dress or any suit like uniforms) are my preference while it seems most people in this and other like forums seem to be into more casual clothes (jeans and even shorts) that tend to do little for me.  A lot favor white clothes as well but since I'm not into see through preferring the shininess of the fabric I tend to not even bother looking at those pictures (at least when I'm forewarned) because the shininess is difficult to detect many times and there is very little in the way of color change.

Does this make them wrong and me (and those like me) right or vice versa? No, both groups are right since that's what we prefer.

I am after some opinions here.  Does wet leather/PVC really count as wetlook?

Now I know there is an interest in this and it is not up to me to say it is right or wrong.  In my opinion I do not really class it as wetlook simply because once the leather/PVC is out of the water then it looks like leather/PVC and has not changed simply because the materials are totally waterproof and the water just runs off them.  Not so sure about latex although I suspect it is the same.

Would those who are into this state why they class it as wetlook please and if any of you agree with me also would you please respond.

Remember, this is just my opinion and nobody elses and I am not trying to start an argument, merely asking a simple question..
