Participation on this forum is overwhelmingly male. There has always been some female participation, but it's minimal. This is probably due to the nature of postings - mostly promotion of producer material displaying women for a male audience.
Occasionally, there are discussions which are favorable to female participation, and a few will chime in.
Unfortunately, there are also trolls here who try (and frequently succeed) to drive women away from this forum.
As a result, many women have come and gone frome here, but overall, female participation here never grows beyond the level of a small minority.
