The perils of the YouTube's public forum have threatened the continued availability of some of our favorite videos, due to offending comments or the like. Keep a record of your favorite videos by availing yourself of a service that downloads the videos for you:

At your option, you can even complete the link by uploading these copies of videos to your own private YouTube account--a gated community that you control, wherein you'd be free to make whatever comments you wish.

This, of course, casts off the ethical issue of downloading content without the author's permission, but I will leave that up to you to decide for yourselves.
