I suppose that all depends on where you live. A few years ago I ws in California, near San Fransisco and I was wading in the very cold Pacific ocean in jeans and a tee shirt. After some time, a Police vehicle drove along the beach, slowed down and the officer asked if I was ok. I said I was indeed. She responded that they had gotten a call that someone was in the water fully clothed and maybe I was suicidal! I assured her I was not and she drove away.

I don't think many people notice or care.

My wife and I have spent days on the beach, swimming in jeans and t-shirts, and never feel we are regarded as odd.

These days, anything goes at the beach.

Thank you for the update! I noticed that there are producers who do similar shots as well, and I was curious, how does the public react when they see a woman go into water fully clothed? Do they see that it is a photoshoot?
