Where exactly is what you write legal? I always thought Eastern Europe has lax copyright laws and it is true that you can download something from a dodgy source in Poland or Russia legally, but... you can't put it up on that source legally. So the one who shares breaks the law even there. Also borrowing is not the same as copying. When you give the CD to your friend you don't have it, the CD is still 1. With digital photos there are now to copies. And actually the act of copying and sharing makes it different.

Sharing copyrighted material privately without commercial gains (making money from it), is permitted in many countries of the world and does not count as copyright infringement. Else you wouldn't be allowed to borrow a CD from a friend or record a movie on TV.

I just posted as a reminder for myself (and the forum) I've found old wetlook pictures. Now someone ask for it "for a friend" via email. No nice speech, no offer for this...and intentionally breaking the laws about copyright, becuase he asks for pictures of Eric Elsas...what do those people think? I know, I post clips on youtube from movies and tv-shows, but all those videos were shown on the web for free and I always link the artist, the copyright-holder or or commercial site to get the whole movie/show and so on...

I just posted that on the forum because it sucks that some "wetlooker" think our community is a big self service store...
