I guess it depends a lot on your definition of porn. The dictionary definition is certainly one view. It doesn't address the phenomenon of people deriving sexual excitation from material that was not created for such purpose (eg webshots).
A completely different way to look at it is whether the material involves or depicts degradation of any persons, whether or not it involves sexual acts, and whether or not for the purpose of sexual excitation. Going by that standard, very few of the links posted on this forum could be labelled porn.
Ultimately, it all comes down to what each of us finds offensive. Unfortunately, there is no one dividing line which would suit everyone, but there does seem to be more-or-less consensus on a few things:
Pop-ups or other forms of "in-your-face" advertising (no matter what they are for)
Spamming
Misleading posts... labelled "great wetlook here" or some such which just leads to XXX sites with little or no actual wetlook.
I think there has been a recent uptick in this sort of thing, and I hope it can be addressed.
My impression is that the majority doesn't really care for pics depicting sexual acts (whether real or simulated) even if wetlook is involved. Lately, I've been encountering somewhat more of this stuff on this forum too.
Perhaps this is what the issue is really about?

I was merely clarifying what porn is (see the websters dictionary definitions I made in the other thread below)...and how Ray misquoted the rules of this forum, cos it is only "hardcore" porn that is not permitted...cos porn is..by definition, all media that is designed to sexual excite somebody...and by that definition ....myself, every other wetlook producer and Ray himself is producing porn too...cos all wetlook that are purposely made... are porn too...only thay are just called "soft porn".
Ray already had his own forum for pg rated wetlook...but this forum has ALWAYS been inclusive of R rated wetlook erotica too. Ray chose to shut down his forum...and so for him to launch a campaign to try and sanitize or change Nigels forum into something more like his old forum...is totally inappropriate. If Ray and his followers want a porn free forum, then Ray should re-open his forum again...and not try to cause trouble in this one and offend genuine and legitimate wetlook ADULT sites like Brianna...who are perfectly welcome to post here.
For those who just don't seem to get it...all Southern Charms website are porn sites...and all wetlook producers sites are porn too...because of what the intended creation and use of those materials were made for...i.e. created for the purposes of sexual excitement and gratification.
If you want to rid all porn sites that are wetlook....you will be left with nothing more than webshots galleries and misc links to magazines etc. All wetlook is porn too....even when it is fully clothed with no nudity....you cannot claim that your form is wetlook is cleaner than those of us who do the raunchier stuff...I don't buy that argument...if the media was deliberately created in order to excite the folks on this forum...then it is porn....and that includes all the g rated photographs like Ray and Sopping too....and anybody who denies that has his head in the sand.
Where this debate has gotten totally off track...is because the subject should have been about "hardcore porn"...not just porn ...
The real issue are links to hardcore porn sites...that show no evidence of any wetlook at all...that is a legitimate complaint to make. But if somebody creates a legitimate wetlook pic and links you to it....you cannot blame them for other things or other links you might see on their website. Remember...Southern Charms is not a society of choirboys...it is a network for adult entertainment models...so get real.
AND HERE IS THE REAL IRONY...the person guilty of violating the forum rules is actually Ray himself....for stirring up this whole debate needlessly...cos Nigel's forum rules state

As per the forum rules...Ray should not have started this in the forum...he should have emailed Nigel to discuss it with with via email...instead of stirring this whole thing up, misquoting Nigel's rules and creating a long list of threads from people who don't know what porn is, and insulting people like Brianna and every other wetlook producer (who defacto is a porn producer too).
What is more irritating is that this seems like a takeover attempt by the puritans... to turn this forum into something more like Ray's old forum...and thats not going to happen. This has always been an "erotica friendly forum"...because Nigel is an erotica producer too.
If you want a utopian porn free society where the only thing you see are webshots pics and never any nudity...this is not the place to be...start your own forum instead.

Yes, I am one of those who responded and agreed with Ray, but my position is stickly against all-porn sites with little or no wetlook contents at all. Sites like Brianna pose no problem with me - her wetlook content is very tastefully done and I hope to see more of her in the near future. Keep on producing Brianna - for every one comment against you, there will be 10 more supporting you! |

Don't worry...you will find plenty of supporters on this forum who enjoy your pics and want to see you continue. You are most welcome to keep posting here.
I think it is inapproprriate for Ray to launch a campaign to stir up this whole debate on what is ostensibly Nigel's forum. Ray already had his own forum in the past...and it was a very good forum for the pg rated wetlook fans to hangout at. BUT....Ray chose to shut down his wetlook forum for his own personal reasons....so it is now totally inappropriate for Ray to wander in here and to try and stir things up on Nigel's forum where Nigel sets the rules. Ray says he does not like the direction this forum is heading in....so fine....re-open your old forum again and cater to all the pg rated wet fans over there then.
To all those folks who agreed with Ray's posting...the answer is NOT to change Nigel's forum....your answer is...to email Ray to lobby him to re-open his wetlook forum again...and to move to Ray's forum....and please take Sopping with you.

As most of you know, I started doing wetlook updates last week and the feedback has been extremely positive to say the least. I have been trying to cater to all requests and I haven't had one complaint about "seeing porn on my site". Is there porn on my site? Yes there is but you have to pay for it. You can't see anymore on the free side of my website then on a good weekend at Miami Beach. And if you don't like to even see that then there is a little X at the top right and corner of your screen that will get you right out of my site. NO POPS-UPS!!
I'm sorry if I sound a little harsh but I've done nothing but to try to cater to all your requests. You asked for more free pictures last week and I gave them to you this week. You asked for shower pictures and I was going to give you that next week. The object is not just to get members, it's to hear your comments on my pictures so I know what to do to make them better. If you want to see more then by all means become a member. If you don't like porn then just stay on the free side of my site and you have nothing to worry about.
Finally, please let me know if you don't want me posting my wetlook updates here anymore and you won't see another update from me. All you have to do is say so......
