Dear Mr. Sopping; I could not agree with you more about this lovley wet lady. It would have been nice if she had a shelf bra in that tank top instead if those messy teenage straps don't you think? Yes, we all miss the lovely Julie and hope that some time in the future she will return to this forum again in all her lovelyness. estefan |

By Sopping - Sun 26/10/03 23:55:54 GMT There is only one of me using the "nom del'eau" of Sopping. There was a "Lord Sopping" who contributed stories, back in the days.
Then and now, my definition of a "Forum" is a gathering place where views are exchanged on a variety of subjects. If it were all one-sided, it would be called a "colloquium," I believe, or something similar.
An exchange of views means just that. If I had not made a measurable contribution with my own stuff, without receiving a brass cent for same [see posting down-page abot "I like to share," or similar theme], I feel that I would have less of a basis for comments. I never put out porn, and never will.
But having made contributions, with many more shoeboxes and slide files still in reserve, I feel I can make comments about likes and dislikes. They have not changed.
And if there are those who welcome the recent influx of porn pix; links to porn sites; and kiddie postings, so be it. They are welcome to their world, and they, probably to their relief, will not find me there.
But a forum can and should contain opinions, and statements of likes and dislikes. And is a comment about missing the lovely Julie on these pages a pot-shot? Maybe.
The defense rests. S:

By MK - wamtec@compuserve.com Sun 26/10/03 13:58:30 GMT Brian...it's the same person. The only difference is...the old Sopping was far more critical when the forum was on a public host run by Bravenet and where there were no "no negativity rules"....so he just let himself rip.
The only difference now is that new Sopping has been told that if he wants to avoid being banned from the Nigel's forum, he has to observe Nigel's "invalid posts" rules and to stop all the negativity or get be blocked from accessing the forum. So..he has mellowed a bit...not cos he has changed his ways....but cos he knows that we are sick of hearing of his whining and negativity and he knows that if he keeps this up, he will find himself locked out of the only playground he can come to.

By AnthonyX - anthonyx@jowc.net Sun 26/10/03 10:24:07 GMT Sopping is a self-professed (self-confessed?) codger of wetlook. I think that means he has to say stuff like that to maintain the image.
Sorry Sopping, couldn't resist

You gotta love Sopping. He cannot manage write a single sentence without having to end it with a pot shot.
I have an optimistic view on life...and for me...I always look at the glass as being half full...and so I appreciate whatever folks post that I happen to like...without feeling the need to take shots at things that don't interest me....whereas for some folks the glass is always seen to be half empty.
Medical studies have shown that people with a positive view on life tend to have lower blood pressure and live a lot longer. Life is too short to waste your energies on things you don't like.

By Sopping - Sun 26/10/03 08:11:12 GMT She is a real looker, isn't she?
Yes, Sopping very much appreciates the really good stuff, on the increasingly small occasions when it surfaces.
And I miss Julie too, Ray....but I said that before.
