I just want to chime in too with a memory from a very unusually hot early September day from 1999 when I was holidaying in Belgium and I spent a couple of hours on the beach at Blankenberge. I didn't see as much wetlook as I normally do on UK beaches but what I did see, about hour an apart from each other and on different parts of the beach, two early-30-something ladies each entering the sea wearing dresses. The first was wearing one with a short skirt, she went in up to her waist, she then caught my eye, looked embarrassed, then returned to the beach. The other wore a dress with a long skirt and sleeves, she went in right up to her neck and she was waving and shouting excitedly at a friend on the beach. She was definitely having good fun!

I wanted to read a bit before I chimed in... I have been getting wet for over 30 years for two reasons... because I like too and I hate wearing a swimsuit (not the perfect body image). We have both a swimming pool and hot tub. I seldom change to swim or soak and will wear what ever I have on, be it shorts and a t-shirt or jeans and a blouse, even a summer dress gets soaked every once in a while. My previous partners never understood my "kink" and eventually disappeared. I have been with my husband now for 18 years and he loves it when I get wet. We occasionally take pics and or videos and at times I even turn into a bit of an exhibitionist just for fun.

We often talk about whether any women are into wetlook. But it strikes me that there is more than one level of "into".

I'd like to hear from some women on their viewpoint, and hear from the guys as to what they've experienced.

I've known some (maybe 50% of the women I've dated that would participate with some enthusiasm if I dropped hints, or downright asked them to. They did it to turn me on, not because it turned them on.

Most of the rest did it as little as possible, never took the lead, and really tried to avoid it, including my wife unfortunately. Takes all the fun out for me when they let me know they don't enjoy it much, and want to put the least effort possible into it.

One, if I said I was in the mood, would enthusiastically ask me what I wanted her to wear, and how I wanted it. She'd soak just about anything she owned if it turned me on. I don't think getting her clothes wet turned her on, her goal was to turn me on as much as possible, and if the clothes got ruined, she didn't much care. She really liked good, enthusiastic sex, and whatever encouraged that was game.

One girl I lived with for a while heard the shower running, and just showed up in a hot dress, stockings and heels she quickly put on just for the occasion. I'd like to think she just wanted to turn me on to the max, but this girl always seemed to be looking for power, how to get what she wanted from guys, and she'd discovered a vulnerability. That has happened to me just once, a girl getting wet for me without me asking.

None of them seemed to be turned on by me getting wet in my clothes.

I've personally never met a woman that would get her clothes wet because it turned her on (not that has come out about it anyway), or better yet, drenched her boyfriend because seeing him wet turned her on.

I'd really like to meet a woman that would drench me by surprise while I was nicely dressed because it turned her on. I've never had that experience. Are there women out there that would if they weren't afraid to try?

Just once I'd like a women soak me, shove me into a pool or something, while we are both very well dressed, fully knowing she'd be next, and getting turned on by it herself. Has this ever happened?
