In the US, we have the concept of Fair Use, where you're allowed to sample a copyrighted work for a number of reasons, as long as you aren't profiting off of it. YouTube is full of clips from movies that are allowed to stay up, as long as the uploaders have declined to monetize them. I'm not sure if wetlook falls under Fair Use or not, but since you're in Germany, the laws are probably different. If you were to send whatever you had in mind to someone in the US, they could most likely post it with no trouble. |

I thought I can put some wetlook (and other clips) which are too short or "bad" quality or lack of sound and so on for the "wambank" on a youtube-channel to make them available for all (users of this forum).
So there's the question about the "wambank": also illegal???

By youngwetfan - Tue 03/11/15 18:26:18 GMT Hi there,
is it possible to put short wetlook sequences out of a movie on youtube and don't get a problem with the copyright of the studios/ producer???
greetings, ywf
