A Russian court decided that VK must respect copyright laws some time ago. And the verdict was strict, they were told what to do in great detail. The collection broke copyright rules on several grounds:

1) while lately the new vidoes were just "favorited" - still by original authors, most were reuploaded, as he himself was listed as the author.

2) there were quite enough vidoes from paysites to suspend him also

So while it is sad to see him go, he can always rebuild. Just favorite the videos instead of reuploading, and stay clear of illegally uploaded paysite stuff. The collection coild be up again (or some 90 percent of it) in no time. Maybe he will decide to do this.

Anyone know what happened? It was such a good collection, is there still a way to access it?
