Hi Alex.

The thing is I NEVER receive ANY spam on my primary email address. I give this address to very few people, only my closest and most trusted friends. I've got one other email account that I use for "legitamate" business, such as online banking and bill pay, etc. and am rarely spammed there. And I do run the latest and greatest firewall, and also a great little spyware detection program, and am very adamant in keeping both updated.

BTW, I plan on joining Wetlook-Online again this coming weekend. Outstanding site, and TYRA'S BEAUTIFUL. And thanks so much for your more than generous free offerings.

i have the same problem with SPAM. (and viruses)

I spoke a few weeks ago with my billing company. I can tell you - the german law does not allow to take addresses without asking (the german media law is one of the best)

i have also private email accounts and i have never used two of them - and i received SPAM .... that sucks !!

i can tell you - there are little programs - called spiders - that read out your ports of your system and scan your regedit and other files. If you want to surf today you need very good security programs to close all unimportant ports of your computer - and the most people doesn´t now it.

I'm a current member of Styx, and before that, Please Tease Me and Wetlook-Online. All three memberships were paid by whichever service they use. Before joining the latter two (which I joined before Styx), I created a "disposable" email address (my ISP allows eight) to use for registration, just in case. This address was given to absolutely no one else, with its sole purpose for existence being to sign-up with such sites. The end result is the box is besieged with the same porn-type spam you're talking about. It began immediately after joining them. I check this box about once a week and delete all. This past Saturday nite I had 67 of these messages. And it does indeed suck. I really don't think the producers are the ones that release our addresses, but the credit card billing service instead. But something needs to be done about it, that's for sure. Again, let me emphatically re----iterate, there's absolutely no way anybody else had this address I used. I live alone, no one else has access to this pc, and I didn't give the address to ANYBODY else. Only one way could it have been obtained.

And one other thing: I trust none of these billing "services". I obtained a credit card to be used online only with just a $200.00 limit to make sure that damages would be minimal in the event........

I have joined a couple wetlook sites using VEROTEL and IBILL, have tried to join one through CCBILL (but told me that I can't from POLAND) and talked to to some three wetlook producers from the forum. And now my mailbox is flooded by porno-like spam. This doesn't happen "for no reason" on polish servers like it does on some international (I am talking about my account on O2.pl not the special wetlook one - shown above).

SO I ASK, WHO IS SELLING E-MAIL ADRESSES TO SPAM SENDERS? IS IT A BILLING COMPANY OR A WETLOOK SITE / PRODUCER? IF THE FOLLOWING - I HAVE JUST ONE THING TO SAY - YOU ARE COMPLETLY F***ED UP MAN!!! DOING SUCH THINGS IN SUCH A SMALL COMMUNITY IS UNBELIEVEBLE. VERY SAD, WHAT PEOPLE WILL DO FOR MONEY...
