Clive - funny you should mention Oasis videos. We transferred all the original camera tapes to digital about six weeks ago, with the intention of publishing these in the not too distant future.

With regard to charging for the material, the work is very time-consuming. As Graham has said, the chance has been there for some time for someone to step up and provide it free. David (full time) and I (part time) have spent the last five weeks re-doing Vintage Wet and Wetfan pages so that they are viewable on desktop and mobile devices. We still have hundreds of sets to do, which will go on WAMRetro as a permanent archive, and not rotated. We have scaled down our business, Somerset Media, to do all this work, but we still have a mortgage to pay!

We are passionate about keeping the WAM heritage of the past for everyone to enjoy. The good news is that we are scanning hundreds of new sets from the 70s, 80s and 90s, which can already be seen in some of our new updates. At present we are scanning a new slide set every day, in addition to pictures from magazines and press clippings, so we hope this will be appreciated.
