Not at all.....because it happened to me as well....because recently they changed all our login passwords on UMD site and their system only sent the new pw change links to our email boxes....but I was not

able to receive that email because my ISP (comcast) has blacklisted the UMD site and block's it's emails....so I was stuck and unable to login cos they changed the passwords and I was not able to get the system email from UMD either....so I

had to contact UMD admin and ask them to send me a pw change link to my Yahoo email address instead....so...it sucks when ISPs block sites they do not like.

It is not us who are idiots...it's the ISPs who decide to ban certain sites they do not like and to block their emails.

I spoke with the UMD owner to try and figure out why Comcast were blocking incoming emails from UMD...and he told me that he had recently sent an all points bulletin announcement to 6000 UMD people all at one time, and that

probably triggered a security alert from Comcast mail servers, cos when you send out an email addressed to 6000 people at one time, then Comcast defines you as a spam site and bans your domain from incoming emails.

Anyway, Gmail and Yahoo are reliable for receiving emails...even if your local internet service is is not.

There are more than 15,000 people who successfully registered at the UMD forum....so it works for them. If you are not receiving emails from the UMD system then please check your spam folder to make sure it was not treated by your email provider as junk mail.

I have experienced a similar problem with my email provider (Comcast) that was blocking emails coming from UMD....so what I did was to register at an alternate email address I have via Yahoo, so if your ISP is blocking emails from UMD then use an alternate email box from Yahoo or Gmail to register.

I have contacted UMD admin to report the issue you raised.

Tried to buy 2 videos, redirected me to UMD site, I registered, the site said that it sent me a verification email, its been 20 minutes, no email, so I can't register, and can't buy. Would love to buy some vids but this system won't let me.
