Sometimes Mediaplayer 9 can`t play older Movies.Try the older Version 7.1 .I myselfe upgraded to MP 9 but got the same probs so i get back to the older Version

I am running Windows Media 9, I have a clip that has an extension of .wmv the windows media player will not play it. I have tried searching for the codec with no luck. Any suggestions?
