I am not a producer, but I think as a girl that pretty often swims with boots on I have some experience here to share...

What makes you choose them instead of shoes?

I think I choose my footwear for swimming according to the rest of the clothes. And if boots fit best, they are the ones that get drenched. And since one of the kinks of my partner are wet boots I tend to quite often give boots a thorough soaking...;)

What do the models say when first asked to swim wearing boots?

Hmmm... I am the model. I think my partner told me about wetlook in a way that part of the game (at least for him) is getting soaked in a complete outfit. Something that's not supposed to get wet. I think I understood that and it's still the most thrilling aspect of wetlook, beside the sensual feeling of some of the clothes. I think that's my little sense of crazyness... So swimming in boots was always part of the picture for me, and I like it!

How difficult is it to swim wearing them?

It's okay. It's easier in pumps or sandals. But most of the time I simply splash around in the pool, so it's not really swimming a distance and they don't hinder me.

Do they ever get heavy and fall down the legs; or fall off?

Most of my boots are pretty tight on my leg, they never slipped off. Never swam in rubber boots, they are meant to get wet, and that spoils it for me somehow. But I just bought some flat brown leather boots that are "slouch"-style. I assume they will end in the pool some day. You probably will see on my site if they slipped off...
